Mailbox, alias or forwarding address?
A mailbox stores messages and has its own login. An alias is another address delivered into a mailbox. Forwarding redirects messages and can affect authentication and delivery. Decide which departments need independent access, and confirm the options and limits available in your account.
Configure devices from account settings
Use the server names, encrypted ports and authentication settings supplied by your hosting account. Do not guess an IMAP or SMTP hostname from your website address. Outlook, Apple Mail and Android mail apps can use supported standard protocols; Gmail behaviour depends on the product and account type.
Authenticate each sending system
Inventory mailbox servers, website forms and newsletter services before configuring SPF, DKIM and DMARC. A website and an email provider may be different systems. Keep DNS records consistent and investigate failed authentication rather than adding permissive records as a shortcut.

Where do I find IMAP and SMTP settings?
Use your account's mail setup instructions or request them through support. The correct hostname, port, TLS mode and username format must match your provisioned service.
Can I use webmail?
Ask support for the webmail URL associated with your account. Use HTTPS and check the address before entering credentials. This website does not provide a separate mail-login form.
Can Gmail use my company address?
Gmail, Google Workspace and the Gmail mobile app have different capabilities. Verify the current options for your account. Do not assume consumer Gmail can import a hosted mailbox using a feature that is unavailable to your account.
